Uncle Ben's Box

Background

David London is a 29 year old IT technician working for a local computer repair company. He has short, dark-blonde hair, a slim figure, and while no one would say that he was sexy, his looks have hardly ever let him down.

He graduated from University four years ago, obtaining a 2:1 in computing, and started working for the company shortly after. As a graduation present, his Uncle Ben, a then 60 year old travel journalist, gave him a decorative box.

The box, made out of a dark brown wood, was about the size of a pack of cigarettes, and was decorated on all sides with unusual patens carved into it. David thought that it was just a decorated block of wood as he could see no way in which it could open, but his uncle was adamant that it was a box.

Uncle Ben died of a heart attack three weeks later.

David has fond childhood memories of Uncle Ben, and would love to share the tales of his adventures with friends, and always keeping the box on proud display in his living room as a conversation starter. But after moving into a larger flat a year ago, he somehow completely forgot about it.
