About Unknown Tales

Similar in scope to Fighting Fantasy and other Gamebooks, Unknown Tales lets you control the actions of a character as they progress through a story.

Choosing a character

To get started you need to choose a character. Unknown Tales has a range of genres to choose from, each containing stories in which details about the protagonist, and the world in which they live, are available.

In choosing a story, you take on the persona of that story's character, and as you read the story, you experience everything they experience.

That is the key... everything that happens to them, happens to you!

What Happens Next?

At the end of each chapter you'll be faced with the decision of What Happens Next? This is where you get to guide the story's protagonist, by choosing how the story should proceed.

If the next chapter is available, you'll be forwarded to it, ready to continue reading until you reach the next choice. If, however, the next chapter isn't available, you'll be given the ability to write your own.

Adding chapters is easy, and allows you total control over how the story should proceed. You've even got the ability to add your own path to the end of a chapter if you're not happy with any of the options available.
